Manufacturer’s routineLet 1 tablet dissolve in the mouth. Manufacturer specifies 1 tablet twice daily for the first 30–45 days; its maintenance directions use 1 daily. Follow the current pack.Manufacturer suggests 1 lozenge twice daily, about 12 hours apart, allowed to dissolve slowly.
Supply at that routine15–30 days at the manufacturer’s stated routine30 days at the manufacturer’s stated routine
Cost per label serving$1.33 per label serving$1.00 per label serving
Cost at the stated routine$1.33–$2.66 per day$2.00 per day
Main trade-offThe 420 mg blend does not reveal individual citrulline or nitrite. Initial and maintenance directions differ; the product page is inconsistent about loading frequency, so confirm the box directions. The 220 mg blend is not 220 mg nitrite or nitrate. Its individual nitrite amount is undisclosed. At two lozenges daily, 60 lozenges lasts 30 days.

Same format does not mean the same formula

Neo40 lists beetroot, hawthorn, citrulline and sodium nitrite in a 420 mg proprietary blend. N1O1 lists magnesium ascorbate and sodium nitrite in a 220 mg proprietary blend. Its 60-lozenge pack is a 30-day supply at the brand’s twice-daily routine. Nitrite and nitrate are different substances; neither blend total is a pure nitrate dose.

The number we cannot compare

The reviewed blend declarations do not isolate a nitrite amount. Do not compare their blend weights with the nitrate quantity in a beet shot. Likewise, a lower blend weight does not make a lozenge weaker: its chemistry and route differ.

Our read

Compare the actual study formulation, endpoint, serving and ongoing cost. N1O1’s detailed timeline of vascular benefits needs outcome-specific trial support. Neo40’s product research needs to match the exact current version. Neither establishes superiority over the other.
